Crowd watching a live band on an outdoor stage at night

1

Complete event audio

A production package built around your event: front-of-house PA, stage monitors, microphones, stands, DIs and cabling, with engineers and crew for setup, soundcheck, the show and strike. Monitor wedges, drum fill, MC microphones and cable ramps are planned to suit the stage and program. Your quote confirms the equipment and staffing included.

2

Concerts, festivals & private events

Sound for live bands, community festivals, corporate programs, weddings and private events. We plan around the venue, audience, performers and schedule, with clear speech for announcements and a balanced mix for the music. Based in Walnut Creek, we serve events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.

3

Planning, soundcheck & show day

We advance the stage plot, input list, power, load-in access, mix position and schedule with you and your performers. On site, we set up and check the system, run soundcheck, manage the audio through the event and handle pack-down. The goal is straightforward: a prepared crew, clear communication and a show that runs smoothly.

4

A clear scope for your event

Your proposal sets out the audio system, crew, schedule and responsibilities. Backline, staging, tenting, generators, refreshments and in-ear monitor systems are not included unless specifically arranged. Tell us about lighting or other production needs during planning so we can confirm what can be provided and what your venue or other suppliers will handle.

Live sound production FAQs

How much does live sound production cost?
Pricing depends on the venue, audience size, performers, equipment, crew and event duration. Send your date, location and schedule for a tailored quote.

Where should the front-of-house mix position be?
In the audience area with a clear view of the stage, where the engineer can hear what the audience hears. We agree on the location with your venue during planning.

Do you also offer mixing and mastering?
Yes. Milbourne Sound offers remote mixing and mastering worldwide, focused on rock, hard rock, punk and metal.

Tell us your event date, venue, expected audience, performers and schedule. We will confirm availability and put together a production quote.
